Finding a Justice of the Peace to witness your signature on those official documents just got a whole lot easier

When purchasing a property, or more directly, when taking out a housing mortgage, you may need to find a Justice of the Peace to witness your signature on the official mortgage documents.

Finding a JP – as Justices of the Peace are often referred to – can be tricky if you don’t know where to start.

Find a Justice of the Peace in Kenmore

In Kenmore, a Justice of the Peace, is available at the Commonwealth Bank at various times during the business week.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, a JP is on site between 9am and 11am. On Thursdays, the hours are 4pm to 6pm. (These times applied at the time of publication.)

You don’t live in Kenmore? No problem, the Queensland Government website can help out. Either do a Google search for ‘find a justice of the peace in Queensland’ or go to the Justice Services pages of the Queensland Government’s website page, Find a JP or C.dec. Once on the webpage, either type in the suburb or town OR the postcode and you’ll get a list of JPs in your area whom you can contact.
